How are alcoholism and drug addiction different?
Answered By Malen Roberson, Editor
Alcoholism and drug addiction are different,
although a person can become overly addicted
to it with the body constantly craving for an
alcohol or a drug fix.
The treatments alone for either problem are
different. There are certain different
methods used, but both aim at the same thing,
getting rid of the addiction and the cravings.
Alcoholism is the constant need to have
alcoholic beverages in the body, while in
drug addiction, a certain drug is what a
person needs to have.
