How long should someone spend in a drug rehab or alcoholism treatment?
Answered By Malen Roberson, Editor
There is no different time pattern as to the
length of stay a person has to spend in a
drug rehab or alcoholism treatment.
There are certain factors that are needed to
be based upon to determine the length of
stay. These factors include:
The methods of rehabilitation the facility uses.
The length of time the person has been
abusing drugs and alcohol.
The sincerity of the person to be rehabilitated.
The social support network the treatment
center has.
The atmosphere and comfortability of the
environment in the
treatment facilities.
The longer the person stays in a treatment
facility the better the chances he has in
fighting a recurrence. The treatment team
will be the one to determine if a person is
truly rehabilitated.
